STARBASE CT inspires the learners of today to be the leaders of tomorrow by:
o Improving student self-esteem and developing positive values.
o Increasing student interest in math and science, and encouraging the pursuit of careers utilizing
technology.
o Improving student attitudes towards school and increasing their interest in learning.
o Improving student ability to work as part of a team, to solve problems effectively, and to set and
achieve positive goals.
o Fostering clear communication within a group structure.
o Igniting a spark of wonder and awe for the possibilities of what is a part of the universe.
